...my new downtown Durango bou*tique office is ready and I am excited to share it with my clients...
...I will be putting finishing touches to it as well as ordering some fabulous new products and art for the walls through the year, but am now ready to meet my wonderful clients there for any reason ~ to take select photos in to start off a session, to meet, view images on a large screen as well as view all the products I offer and go over orders...
...and to all my clients who love me coming to them for orders, I still do that too, so no worries!...
...meeting there is by appointment only, so please contact me to set a date...
...I look forward to meeting you there and I love that I have a place just for my clients...
...and what is so exciting is that I am in the process of designing my sign & all the other last details to make it complete...
...one day, soon, I will make into a true boutique to sell fashionable accessories *fine art for the home* as an addition to the portraiture, but for now, it is just a bou*tique office...

...Here are just a few of the sweet and adorable kiddos I photographed today...
...I am quite exhausted:)...I think I photographed about 40 kids in 2.5 hours...
...And, I don't usually post any fundraisers I am a part of or donate to as it is my personal belief that giving should be that-giving, but I thought I would share this one as I would love to help raise awareness for this school as it will be here for a long time and it is a part of our community...
...The Riverhouse Children's Center is a non-profit school for children up to 5 years old.  It is a wonderful school and I adore the teachers and staff that work there.  And since they are non-profit, they rely solely on grants, donations, fundraising and tuition to allow the school have the best learning environment with the best teachers & staff available. Early childhood education is SO important and we need to foster education in our lovely town as much as we can to maintain the already amazing people and families that are here. This school really does need the community to take notice to help it reach it goals...If you would like more information on how to help, please contact the school (click here) to see how you can help.
...I feel so lucky to live in a community that has so many wonderful pre-k schools & families that focus so much on the importance of early childhood education...Durango is so amazing...

...I LOVE this time of year...
...I am enjoying my daughters' delight as they watch the lights & dance around the house...
...I am loving the music and holiday sweets...
...I am appreciating all the wonderful people and clients that have come into my life throughout the past year...from the lovely anticipating moms, the adorable newborns, the active toddlers and wonderful kids to the amazing families, high school seniors and people in love...
...I look forward to more of this in 2010...
...There is a lot of good stuff ahead...
...And I can't wait to meet it all...
...I can't wait to meet you...

...I just had to post this one from ~little l's~ session...His mom has a fondness for the serious looks, but I LOVE this one...You can't even tell the hat is on backwards...:)

Take a look at this A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E little guy...He is so sweet and already has a modeling contract with the prestigious Ford Modeling Agency...wow...and he is not even 2!

I am pretty behind on posting, but am trying to get caught up...I have been pretty busy with clients and putting up galleries and taking more photos, but I am on my way to post more!  There are a LOT of great things happening here, so I will post as they all come to fruition! 

...This has to be the cutest princess I have ever met...

...She has the princess thing down too...and she is only 3...but she is a very sweet princess and her parents adore her...

...We had many outfit changes (because princesses LOVE dressing up)...and that made my job a lot easier as there was no resistance to the changing of clothes...

...She had me laughing a lot too...and she is SO very smart...I was very impressed...After she counted to me in spanish and english as well as answered some mathematical questions, she proceeded to tell me; "cuz that's how I roll..."

...OMG...I thought I was going to die of laughter...It was hilarious...

...Oh, kids are so funny...I loved spending the morning with her and her lovely parents...I am so glad they chose me to take their photos...

...And every princess has to have a sweet puppy...so cute!...

...There are SO many more photos, but her mom and dad will have to wait for the full gallery:)...

This family was TOO stinkin' cute, okay...TOO stinkin' gorgeous....

I had so much fun with them as soon as I stepped into their home...

Little ~p~ and Little ~n~ were hilarious and were SO into having their photos taken... I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT!

We did just about everything you could do...played hungry hungry hippo, read books in their rooms, jumped on all the beds, chased the cat, played basketball, rode the bicycle-skateboard & scooter, jumped on the trampoline, played in the play house, slid down the slide, played on the swings...what am I missing?...?...I know there was something else too...They have so much energy...WOW...

...And I was so sore when I arrived at the photo shoot as I had a very intense workout session that morning, so I really had to step it up when I realized what I was in for...

And their mom is so sweet & way too beautiful...you can see how much they love each other too...

That is what I love about my job so much...I get to get a little sneak peek into a family's life and capture that moment...the love, the joy, the laughter...All of it...The hugs, the holding hands, those "looks" that kids give their parents...you know the one I am talking about...:)...They are all what make a family...How am I so lucky? I am so grateful families let me into their lives to do this for them...It is amazing...

And I have SO many more images that I want to post, but I want them to be a surprise for their full gallery...oohhhh...can't wait!!

This little guy (8 days old) was just way way too precious...perfect little lips, perfect long fingers & toes...and the cutest head of hair...

And I think he liked me as he would fall asleep when I moved him to a new blanket or wrap... His parents were so great about me moving him too...

I love that they trusted me...I love holding newborn babies too...they are just so~well, no words can really describe how perfect they are~

Little "b" has the most wonderful family~he is such a lucky little guy...his mom is hilarious by the way-I just adore her, I always have...

I had such a great afternoon with this lovely family...I can't wait for them to see their entire gallery...

Oh my goodness....this little one just stole my heart...I love my job so much...

First, her mom and dad are simply adorable and beautiful (so is little "e" naturally then)...I seem to have the most gorgeous clients...seriously, I do...

Second, little "e" has the most a-ma-zing nursery I have ever seen...her mom has an eye for design for sure... (she is the talented creator of Layers Cake Design (wedding and special occasion cakes)...love..love..love... her cakes...

Third, I can't wait to get my favorite photo from this session on a huge gallery wrapped canvas....I have a few upcoming gallery displays around town and will keep everyone posted when and where....I am so excited...

So, you will have to go and visit the displays downtown to see what photo I will be putting up....yay!

I just love newborns and I love that I get to photograph this fleeting time in their lives...it is such an honor....isn't little "e" just the sweetest most perfect baby ever...

p.s. I had the hardest time narrowing down my favorite pics from this session, so I just decided to post more than just one...  And I am SO excited that they allowed me to take these very intimate shots...it was so much fun...

Love to little "e" and her mom and dad...and I can't wait for you to see the rest of the photos!
