I am so excited to be a part of this amazing event. Alana (artist and owner of Mixed Greens Event Design) and I decided to do a little photo shoot as inspiration for it...Alana is the person behind the Winter Soiree and has done so much to make this event absolutely fabulous. I LOVE that we collaborate on so many fun things together...we have a lot more up our sleeves and can't wait to share it all with you over the next few months...

"The Winter Soiree will feature only the finest wedding & event services that Durango and the surrounding areas have to offer.
Vendors have been hand selected by invite only and will be there to meet with you and share their unique services. Most Vendors are new or have boutique businesses that cater to discerning clientele.
Our objective is to provide our guests with an extraordinary experience while they find the best resources to plan their wedding or event. The first 100 guests will be greeted with complimentary champagne and gift bags with literature from each vendor and a copy of the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of The Knot (with their compliments)."

...This photo shoot was SO much fun...It started off as an idea to get a few brides together that wanted to wear their dresses again (because really, when do you ever where your wedding dress after you get married:))...but it turned into so much more than that...We had the most talented vendors all participate in this and I cannot wait to do more with these wonderful vendors in Durango. We had two gorgeous brides & grooms, a fabulous venue, a talented chef, a brilliant make-up and hair stylist and an ultra fabulous floral designer...Since I now photograph engagements and weddings locally as well as for destination weddings worldwide, I was honored to collaborate with these wonderful and people to make this happen...So, please enjoy & leave comments:)...

I wanted to post one more image from the Dalton Golf and Ranch photo shoot before I leave for Telluride this weekend....I will do a full post to show you the fabulous photo shoot we had ...We had a designer/florist, chef, hair and make-up artist, invitation designer, and two gorgeous brides and grooms...it was fantastic! I can't wait to share all the images to show you my style for wedding photography..It has more of a fashion/photojournalism/fine art twist!
Seriously...how insanely gorgeous is the couple above??!!!...I will post more in a few days!
