...I am appreciating all the wonderful people and clients that have come into my life throughout the past year...from the lovely anticipating moms, the adorable newborns, the active toddlers and wonderful kids to the amazing families, high school seniors and people in love...
...I look forward to more of this in 2010...

I am so excited to be a part of this amazing event.  Alana (artist and owner of Mixed Greens Event Design) and I decided to do a little photo shoot as inspiration for it...Alana is the person behind the Winter Soiree and has done so much to make this event absolutely fabulous.  I LOVE that we collaborate on so many fun things together...we have a lot more up our sleeves and can't wait to share it all with you over the next few months...

Our objective is to provide our guests with an extraordinary experience while they find the best resources to plan their wedding or event. The first 100 guests will be greeted with complimentary champagne and gift bags with literature from each vendor and a copy of the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of The Knot (with their compliments)."

This beautiful pair of shoes is just one of many that are up for bid at an amazing event in Durango that benefits a wonderful organization.  Morgan, the owner of From the Heart, decoupaged & decorated this lovely pair of stilettos...I LOVE LOVE LOVE that these shoes are helping someone...gotta love that...and I would love to wear them as they are amazing!

Ahhh...jewelry...and artistic jewelry to boot...LOVE the jewelry at From the Heart...

...the line by Aldrich Art is simply divine...

...the crafstmanship and attention to every single detail...I had a ring made from them and was able to pick out all the details & it turned out amazing...then my sister "borrowed" my ring...I have not seen it since...that is how amazing they are...I don't know if I will ever get it back actually...it may be a bit of a fight...

Then there are the jeans...they carry women's and men's designer  jeans...they are the best...seriously...

p.s. If you are still reading this, From the Heart and I are having a soiree in June...I will give more details soon...and we want you to help us celebrate...there will be great reasons to be there, so stay tuned...and yes, it has to do with a session from me...

...Okay, so I may be addicted...so what, right? There could be worse things to be addicted to..........I think........

I will post regularly on the new clothes that come in at From the Heart...these are just a FEW of the divine things there too...

The reason for this is that I have found that as a mom of two little muchkins, my time is dedicated to them and not so much me anymore.  I am trying to put more "me" time in, but the simple fact is that they are the center of my world and all the other things are not so much. It is very hard to get me out of the house to go to the oh-so-fun grocery store, let alone shopping or even walking downtown (ummmm...ya, SO much fun with 2 toddlers:))...

...I have always loved clothes and shoes and looking nice as I had jobs that were necessary for this and I LOVED getting ready and dressing up...*don't you just wish that  heels were comfortable wearing to the park?...I sure do...*

And I still do love all of it...I just don't dress up every day...only when I make the time to do so...

And I still want to know what is new so I am not the frumpy dumpy mommy that I feel like on a lot of the days...

And I LOVE going into From the Heart...It is just BEAUTIFUL and it makes me feel so wonderful to see all the yummy clothing, shoes & jewelry...and they have all my favorite jeans or Juicy jumpsuits that I can every single day anyways...

SO, I have made it my mission to show other moms that do not have the time to go shopping or keep up with what is new at From the Heart and show you what is new and gorgeous so that you don't miss a beat...Go in there and get something for yourself...you deserve it...I love to splurge on something that makes me feel beautiful or sexy for a date with my hubby...or for a girls night out...LOVE that...I am learning to do that more for myself...And you should too...

So, here is some of the gorgeous, must-have-it-now, amazing things at the store...Go in and take a look...you won't be disappointed...

Have you seen all these amazing shoes at From the Heart (651 Main Ave, Durango, Colorodo)?!?!?!

They are my new must haves...along with all the other new gorgeous clothing and accessories they have in right now...

I am just posting a couple photos from their store right now, but I will be posting a lot more this week...

I am so honored that I get to put my images in Morgan's store, so a huge thank you to her...They will be there starting in a couple of weeks...

I am going to be posting all the new items that come in at From the Heart, as I know that as a mom of two little ones, it is hard to:

1) get out of the house;

2) get out of the house with kids;

3) get to a store with kids in tow;

4) find the time to get out to just peruse the stores downtown...

So, this is for all the mommies that LOVE designer clothes, shoes & accessories like myself but find themselves wearing uggs instead of the stilettos they once did before...

It should inspire you to get to From the Heart and buy those things that catch your eye and make you feel like the gorgeous and stunning woman that you are...It is time to take a stand and be that hip mamma that you want to be...
