...It is about time that I post some photos of my girls...
...so I thought I would spend about 5 minutes yesterday and 5 minutes today taking photos of them to document their being princesses:)...
...oh how they love thinking they are princesses...
...and everyone just loves indulging them in their dream world too...

...I LOVE this time of year...
...I am enjoying my daughters' delight as they watch the lights & dance around the house...
...I am loving the music and holiday sweets...
...I am appreciating all the wonderful people and clients that have come into my life throughout the past year...from the lovely anticipating moms, the adorable newborns, the active toddlers and wonderful kids to the amazing families, high school seniors and people in love...
...I look forward to more of this in 2010...

...I feel like I have not posted photos of my daughters lately and thought I would share a few photos I took recently...My youngest just turned two...sniff sniff...The days go by way to fast...they really really do...I love my girls with all my heart and am so grateful they are in my life...

P.s. the stinkin' cute outfits are, of course, from Love Bug Clothing Co...I will post more in color so you can see the pink tulle at the bottom of each outfit...but in the meantime, go check out the site for all the new clothes coming in daily...wow...I love that store...

...more on the red & pink balloons balloons this week...
...I took my girls on a photo-shoot a couple weeks ago and I want to do it again with every single color of balloons that you can possibly imagine...I think I will do just that too!...
...and I have been brainstorming ideas about balloons and engagement sessions...hmmmm...I can't wait to use them on all the sessions coming up!

...My girls and I are sick today...But how cute is Addi in my shoes:)...My girls love shoes~just like me...Uh Oh!!!

...Sorry for the lack of regular posts lately.  I will get back on track I promise. I have been a busy busy bee taking photos, editing images, getting galleries up and ordering the most amazing products for clients...I have also been trying to finish my new website and blog to get it all up to date...I still have a little to go, but soon...soon...and the rest of the year is looking quite busy, so I am trying to get everything perfect asap, as I don't think I will have time for a lot of extra tedious stuff over the next few months...

...I am very excited about all the things happening here, so I promise I will have more in store soon...

...And for seniors at Durango High School or elsewhere, I have availability for senior sessions...and I have a couple great incentives for you if you book and refer me to a classmate as well as if you & a friend book me on the same day...contact me for more information...

My oldest daughter thinks she is a super hero when she wears this mask...it is so cute...Her cousin gave it to her and she has no clue who the mask represents, but she sure does put on a little show thinking she does...Kids are so great...I love her...

So, it had me thinking that the holidays are approaching...and FAST...I am almost completely booked in September with maybe one-two spots left & the other months seem to be booking steadily...  SO, I have a couple spots available in each month for the rest of the year~for now at least.  I do book sessions in December, but those session dates do not make it possible for holiday orders. So, if you would like me to be your photographer, please contact me to reserve your space as they seem to be filling up.  If you are expecting, then you will need to give me your tentative due date that fills that part of the month. And I only book a certain amount of sessions per month to ensure the highest quality and care for your entire experience with me...from the day of your session to the day I deliver your images and products and everything else in between. I only want to give you the best.

Deadlines for sessions and orders for the holidays are the following:

~Prints, gallery wrapped canvases, cards~
Last day a session date could take place for the above products: 2nd week in November
Order deadline(from any session): December 1

~Albums & Folios~
 Last day a session date can take place or any album orders: 2nd week in October
Order deadline for albums (from any session): November 1
...
I will take sessions after and during any of these times...so if you are not concerned about holiday deadlines, then no worries!  You can relax and take a deep breath..oh wait, I mean I can relax and take a deep breath...ahhhh...

My parent's have a lovely home on the river in the North Animas Valley that we grew up in and I love that the girls will be able to enjoy it too.  My parent's live here during the summer and so we get to enjoy the large grassy area near the river and bbq, play bocce ball, billiards and enjoy the gorgeous views of the river, mountains & my mom's beautiful gardens as the summers are so amazing in Durango.  Here are a few images from last weekend.  I kept the photo-taking to a minimum as to just relax and enjoy the holiday, but wanted to share a few...

Oh, to be a kid again...

..We, along with our very close friends and their two boys, took the girls to the zoo in Albuquerque this past weekend and it was so much fun...They had their faces painted by a clown that was at the hotel (who is there every Fri and Sat night while happy hour is on for the parents:))...and she made them swords out of balloons too...it was too darn cute...and I don't even like clowns, so that says a lot...And of course, Addi had to be a little princess...

...We planned on doing a lot more those two days too, but they are still so young and had meltdowns pretty early on, so we had to skip the aquarium and botanical gardens...we'll save those for another get-away-weekend I guess...

...They loved the zoo too...this gorgeous lion came right up to the window, looked at all 4 kids and then sat down right in front of them...they LOVED that...

...If we had a zoo here, I would do photo shoots there all the time as it is a perfect place to capture a child's every emotion...

...So, here are just a few photos as I really did just try to enjoy the moments with my family and friends rather than document the entire trip with my camera...

...as requested by my hubby, so I thought I would indulge him this time...

...plus, it is HARD when you are trying to photograph your own children while watching them at the same time AND trying to be creative...hey, I am not perfect...

The other day we drove up to our home and there they were...a flock of plastic flamingos...

We were SO confused...how in the world did they get there?

It turns out that our good friend paid to have them put in our front yard...it was a fundraiser for one of the local schools and the flock of flamingos were migrating all through town to other people's lawns too...So, we only had them there for one day, but it was SO great because the girls got such a kick out of it! Thank you Jarod!  We love you!

We also have just been having fun in the gorgeous warm weather here...I love the summer time...

Okay, I will keep this short as I have many photos to edit from recent sessions and I am still waiting on the arrival of all the newborn sessions I have coming up...I wonder if their parents are as antsy as I am?:)
