...I just love traveling sessions...
...it is nice to get out of Durango and go on an adventure...
...all my sessions are on-location and what I enjoy most is going to people's homes and incorporating all they love into an image...
...little s's mom & dad love a bit of opposite styles, so it was so fun to mix that together to create images that include a bit of it all:

...Awww...this little cutie pie was SO adorable...at 2 weeks old, he sure knew exactly what he wanted: mom and his binky:)  He had other plans during the photo-shoot besides the sleepy baby poses his mom wanted...nope...he gave us his opinion on that for sure:)...hilarious...

 We took photos at The Spaah Shop where his mom is an esthetician ...I usually take photos at the baby's home, but this was pretty cool as the store has some fantastic colors and interesting things to showcase a little one...I had a super hard time not shopping while taking photos:)...

To little ~b~'s mom: I hope you like these...there are more to come:)

Oh how I loved photographing this family...If you are a regular here, then you may remember this beautiful couple (well, once I am finished re-uploading all my posts you will)...Now that little ~k~ has arrived, their bond seems even stronger...that is so hard to believe as it was so magnetic before...
Little ~k~ is such a cutie pie!  He was great the whole time and even fell asleep in my arms at the end of the session...He even had a few surprises up his sleeve and they were hilarious!  Mom & dad: he may be a prankster when he grows up:)...

Lots of love to this family...I swear I am so lucky that I get to meet the most amazing people through what I do...I feel my clients and I are drawn to one another and have an instant connection and I LOVE that...That is what makes what I do so great...Mwwwaaaa! More to come in the full gallery!

Sweet little ~l~...and just six days old too...His parents are so wonderful and I just loved photographing them ~again~...I had photographed little ~l~'s mom's maternity session not too long ago and she was so excited to meet him...and well...now he is here and they are so in love...

...If you are a regular blog reader here, then you will remember this gorgeous pregnant woman ...well...

...introducing little ~o~...this precious little one has a birth story to envy...exactly what you would ever hope for as an anticipating to-be mom & dad...

...she was sleeping on her blanket (see 1st photo) when I arrived and was sooo perfectly content that I had to capture her exactly as she was right away...

...and I LOVE this family and was so excited to meet their new precious baby girl & photograph these beginning stages of her life...they are SO incredibly elated as new parents too...sigh...I love that...

...little ~o~'s dad is the creative talent behind the sink creation as he is half owner & creator of Counter Kulture here in Durango (they make AMAZING sinks, counters and anything else you can think of for your home or office out of concrete and other materials...)...I already have a desk in mind that I want him to make for me...:)...so I wanted to take a photo of little ~o~ in it as a special take on both his "work" ...:)...

...p.s....the was the funniest thing ever: see the laughing photo...she had a special surprise just for her dad...way to break him in little ~o~!...

Okay...I don't even know really what to say...this photo shoot was SO much fun...It took place at the Glacier Club and it was the perfect day...This family was so laid back (and absolutely not-fair-gorgeously-stunning) and just trusted me completely to photograph my way & to do what I do...I am honored they chose me to photograph their family...I am always honored when a family chooses me...It is so special when they allow me into their home and are so warm and welcoming and excited for me to take photographs of them...how lucky am I? Seriously...

...They brought out the works too: horse swing, tennis, basketball, baseball, longboards, jump ropes, bubbles, ice cream with sprinkles, swimming pool...phew...they love everything! It was fantastic!

...and I had the hardest time narrowing these images down to just a few as there are SO many more, but I decided to leave the majority as surprises for their gallery...

...I love all of the images so much that they are going to be a featured gallery on my website...so you can see the entire session soon too & I will let you know when it is ready to view...

...Here are a few of my favorite images that show a little insight into the day we had...

...and p.s.: these sisters have the best sibling bond ever...It made my heart melt to see them love each other so very much as I thought of my own daughters and how they might be like this when they are that age...and I can only imagine how protective these cuties will be over their little brother (who was way too cute for words)...oh boy~watch out...
